Six Flags Entertainment Corp. will relocate its corporate headquarters from Charlotte, North Carolina to Arlington, Texas, consolidating leadership at Choctaw Stadium to improve efficiency and align with its Texas properties; about 100 of roughly 114 Charlotte staff are expected to move, with some roles not guaranteed, as Arlington offers a stronger incentive package including ongoing grant payments through 2035 and marketing funding. The company will maintain an office in Sandusky, Ohio, and says it remains committed to Carowinds investments despite the move.
