A man barricaded himself inside a 7-Eleven in Arlington, Virginia, brandishing a knife and ignoring police commands. After negotiations, officers attempted to arrest him around 9 p.m. and fired, striking him multiple times. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and died there days later. The Northern Virginia Critical Incident Response Team is investigating, and the involved officers are on administrative leave.
