FDA Halts Sales of Balance of Nature Supplements, Orders Compliance
St. George-based Balance of Nature has been ordered by a federal court to halt production and sales of its products until it meets compliance with federal regulations and requirements under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. The U.S. Department of Justice alleged that the company violated the act by distributing adulterated and misbranded dietary supplements. Another complaint was filed against Premium Productions LLC for manufacturing adulterated dietary supplements. The products in question are marketed under the brand name Balance of Nature.
