NetEase says it has a zero-tolerance policy on cheats in Marvel Rivals and has named, shamed and banned nearly 500 players after a weekend update, partially sharing names, user IDs and ranks from Bronze to Celestial. The cheats were detected by Marvel Rivals’ automated penalty system, and penalties include permanent bans and potential device or IP bans. Players who believe they were unjustly penalised can appeal through official channels as NetEase aims to keep fair play in the Chronoverse.

Blizzard Takes Action Against WoW Classic Bots and Death Knight Exploit

Blizzard has banned up to 120,000 accounts in World of Warcraft Classic for using Death Knight bots to quickly reach the endgame. The bots were created after Blizzard waived the requirement for players to have another character at the same level or above to create a Death Knight. The company has now reinstated the restriction, saying it was a "tempting vector for malicious actors to use to get into the game and start exploiting very quickly." The decision has been welcomed by the WoW Classic community.
