Trotz steps down as Predators GM, stays to guide leadership transition
Barry Trotz announced he is stepping down as the Nashville Predators’ general manager, remaining in the post through the end of his contract and to help select a successor. A former Predators coach and Capitals Stanley Cup winner, Trotz will assist in the leadership transition while the team, four points out of a playoff spot as of Monday, works to find new hockey-operations leadership.
