Daveigh Chase, the actress famous for Samara in The Ring and the voice of Lilo in Disney's Lilo & Stitch, has died in Los Angeles at 35 from sepsis after meningitis, following a period of malnourishment. Her longtime manager said she preferred independent projects and a simple life over Hollywood glitz.
