"NASA's Historic Artemis 2 Mission Crew Includes First Black Astronaut to Land on Moon"
NASA announced the crew for its 2024 lunar voyage, Artemis II, which marks the first manned moon mission in over five decades. Victor J. Glover will become the first Black astronaut to visit the moon. Glover has been appointed the pilot of the mission. The crew also includes the first woman, Christina Hammock Koch, assigned to lunar orbit.
