Sicario 3 Confirmed: Blunt, Brolin, and Del Toro Reunite for Trilogy Finale
The long-delayed third installment of the Sicario franchise is officially moving forward. Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin, and Benicio Del Toro will reunite to reprise their roles from the 2015 and 2018 films. Padraic McKinley has been attached to direct, and Oscar-nominated screenwriter Steven Knight is writing the script. The project, previously stalled by the 2023 writers' strike, is now being shopped to studios for a potential early 2027 start.
