Zuckoff App and Bastille Networks Offer New Ways to Detect Meta Smart Glasses Amid Privacy Backlash
A new iPhone app called Zuckoff, developed by Polish programmer Pawel Szydlowski, has gained 5,000 users by detecting nearby Meta smart glasses through Bluetooth signals. Simultaneously, cybersecurity firm Bastille Networks has launched enterprise software to locate smart glasses within 1-3 meters for sensitive facilities. These tools emerge as Meta faces growing backlash over its AI glasses being used to secretly record strangers, with the company disabling tampered devices and defending its recording indicators.
