
Beloved East Bay Latin American Brunch Spot Reopens After 6-Year Hiatus
Bocanova, a Latin American restaurant in Jack London Square, Oakland, has reopened after a six-year hiatus with a new breakfast and dinner menu, including mezcal palomas and banana bread. The restaurant has undergone a major facelift, with a new color palette and aesthetic meant to invoke cultures throughout Central and South America. The space includes two outdoor patios and an espresso bar with pastries to-go. The new Bocanova is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
