SpaceX Sets New Record with 16th Falcon 9 Booster Flight and Starlink Mission
SpaceX is set to launch its Falcon 9 rocket booster, tail number 1058, on its record-breaking 16th flight. This booster previously carried the first astronauts aboard the Crew Dragon capsule and has since completed 15 flights, making it the joint fleet leader. SpaceX is pushing the envelope by exceeding the previously certified limit of 15 flights. The booster will launch the fifth batch of second-generation Starlink satellites, marking the fifth launch of the V2 mini satellites. This mission will bring the total number of Starlink spacecraft launched to 4,768.
