Thousands flock to illegal French teknival on military site despite explosives risk
More than 20,000 revelers attended an illegal teknival at a French military firing range near Bourges, despite the danger of unexploded ordnance. Authorities deployed around 600 police officers, issued dozens of fines for narcotics and driving offences, and treated about a dozen people for minor injuries as organizers held the event without authorization on a site historically used for testing cannons and missiles.
