Toledo Brent Industries Blast Claims Two Lives
Two workers died in an early-morning explosion at the Brent Industries facility on South Ave in Toledo. About 12 workers were inside at the time; the plant houses mineral spirits. Flames soared over 100 feet, the building partially collapsed, and crews contained the blaze by about 6:15 a.m. One victim has been identified as Mary Allen, 64, with the other not yet named. The investigation into what caused the blast is ongoing.
