Washington paper mill tank rupture leaves 11 dead, 9 missing
A ruptured large chemical tank at Nippon Dynawave Packaging's Longview paper mill spilled more than 500,000 gallons of white liquor, killing 11 people and leaving nine workers missing; authorities say there is no hope of survivors as cleanup and river contamination monitoring continues, with the cause under investigation and the plant having a history of safety fines.
