The New York Giants defeated the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4, securing their fourth consecutive victory of the 2026 season. Following the game, head coach Brian Daboll delivered a locker room speech emphasizing the team's ability to 'finish' games, a theme consistent with their recent performance against the Cowboys and Titans.
Tennessee Titans head coach Robert Saleh firmly rejected the idea of benching quarterback Cam Ward, despite the second-year starter’s poor performance in the first three games of the 2026 season. Ward has completed 62.5% of his passes for 504 yards and two touchdowns, ranking 20th in accuracy and 29th in expected points added. While his sack rate has improved to 5.38%, the Titans’ offense remains stagnant, ranking 30th in points per game. Saleh attributed the struggles to dropped passes and defensive issues rather than Ward’s mechanics, though he noted the quarterback’s footwork deteriorates late in games. Backup Mitchell Trubisky remains on the depth chart, but the team is giving Ward more time to adapt to offensive coordinator Brian Daboll’s system.
The New York Giants’ 2026 schedule features a four-primetime slate under new head coach John Harbaugh, opens with a Sunday Night Football showdown against the Cowboys at MetLife, and includes a Week 2 Monday Night Football trip to the Rams followed by a Week 3 home game against the Titans where Brian Daboll returns as Titans OC. The team will not play on Thanksgiving, there’s no international game, and the slate lists a mix of home and away opponents (home: Cowboys, Eagles, Commanders, Cardinals, Browns, Jaguars, Saints, 49ers, Titans; away: Cowboys, Eagles, Commanders, Lions, Texans, Colts, Rams, Seahawks).
The Tennessee Titans have signed wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson to a four-year, $78 million contract, reuniting him with former Giants coach Brian Daboll in Tennessee. Robinson posted a career-best 1,014 receiving yards on 92 receptions in the 2025 season, and he joins a Titans offense expected to rely on him heavily as Cam Ward enters his second NFL season. Robinson was a 2022 second-round pick with the Giants, finishing his four years there with 268 catches for 2,465 yards and nine touchdowns.
As free agency opens Monday at noon ET, league chatter suggests Giants receiver Wan’Dale Robinson will sign with the Tennessee Titans, a move facilitated by Titans offensive coordinator Brian Daboll who previously coached him with the Giants. Robinson had a 1,000-yard season in 2025 and has 268 career receptions for 2,465 yards and nine touchdowns; his familiarity with Daboll’s offense could help the Titans, who are trying to shape their attack under first-year head coach Robert Saleh.
Brian Daboll said Cam Ward’s athleticism, accuracy and dual-threat ability were a major factor in his decision to accept the Titans’ offensive coordinator job, with plans to tailor the offense to Ward’s strengths and continue his development.
Giants' latest news covers Chad Hall's promotion to wide receivers coach, a look at Shane Day as offensive coordinator candidate, John Harbaugh's plan to raise the team's standard, and co-owner Steve Tisch's Epstein-files controversy drawing scrutiny of ownership and leadership.
The Tennessee Titans officially named Brian Daboll their offensive coordinator, pairing him with quarterback Cam Ward. Daboll, entering his 30th year in coaching and 26th in the NFL, brings extensive OC experience from multiple NFL teams and previously served as Giants head coach from 2022–2025.
The Tennessee Titans have hired Brian Daboll as their offensive coordinator, adding a veteran coach with extensive NFL OC experience and a recent Giants head-coaching stint to guide the team's offense under new head coach Robert Saleh.
Former Giants head coach Brian Daboll is reportedly set to become the Tennessee Titans’ offensive coordinator under new head coach Robert Saleh, with a potential derailment if he pursues the Las Vegas Raiders’ head coaching job. Daboll is praised for quarterback development with Josh Allen, Daniel Jones, and Jaxson Dart, and the Titans — who drafted Cam Ward first overall in 2025 — hope he can mold Ward’s talent and run the offense for a defensive-minded Saleh. The piece notes Daboll’s ties to the Giants and John Harbaugh’s hiring, and wonders whether he’ll succeed as OC without Josh Allen.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Brian Daboll has completed a second interview for the Raiders’ head coaching job. Other candidates (Joe Brady, Davis Webb) had second interviews, and Panthers DC Ejiro Evero has been interviewed repeatedly. Daboll, fired by the Giants in 2025 after a 20-40-1 run, remains in the mix for Las Vegas, with potential OC opportunities if a head coaching gig doesn’t materialize.
Former Giants head coach Brian Daboll has agreed to become the Tennessee Titans’ offensive coordinator under ex-Jets boss Robert Saleh, with the deal contingent on him not taking the Raiders’ head coaching job; Daboll was fired by the Giants in November after a 20-40-1 record, while Saleh, previously Jets head coach, is now leading the Titans after a stint as 49ers defensive coordinator.
ESPN's Adam Schefter signaled that the Raiders’ head-coach candidates mirror Buffalo’s list—Davis Webb, Joe Brady, and Brian Daboll—while not naming Klint Kubiak, fueling debate about Webb’s possible top spot. Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer has also floated Webb as a strong option thanks to Brady connections, and Webb’s unusually positive Raiders interview has supporters optimistic about his upside despite limited coaching experience. The chatter reflects ongoing uncertainty as Las Vegas weighs a hire that could hinge on pairing Webb with an experienced OC.
Charlie Weis Jr. has exited the Eagles' offensive coordinator search to remain on Lane Kiffin's Ole Miss staff. With him out, Philadelphia's known targets include Josh Grizzard, Mike Kafka, Jim Bob Cooter, Matt Nagy, Declan Doyle, Jerrod Johnson and Frank Smith, with Brian Daboll still touted as a possibility. The team could interview more coaches as Rams and Broncos assistants become available for consideration.
The Las Vegas Raiders have interviewed Brian Daboll for their head-coaching vacancy, amid rumors of other candidates such as Brian Flores; Daboll’s Patriots ties and recent Bills work with Josh Allen are noted, while the Flores possibility appears to have fizzled for unclear reasons (possibly linked to Mike Pettine’s comments).
