Gerrit Graham, a versatile character actor best known for Beef in Phantom of the Paradise and for De Palma collaborations, died at 77 in Rhinebeck, NY, from complications of lung disease. His career spanned films like Greetings, Pretty Baby, Used Cars, Cannonball!, and Child’s Play 2, plus TV and voice work; he also co-wrote the Grateful Dead song “Victim or the Crime” with Bob Weir.
