Federal Charges Filed Against Men in Fatal Fentanyl Overdose and Rape of FIT Student
Federal prosecutors have charged two men with distributing fentanyl that killed a Fashion Institute of Technology student and raped her while she was unconscious. Moises Freire, 19, and Brian Peralta Cabrera, 18, are accused of lying that the drug was cocaine. A third man, Harry Rosales Pino, already pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges related to the drug supply chain.
