Brunswick leans on AI tech and boat clubs to shore up sales
Brunswick Corp., parent of Sea Ray and Boston Whaler, is betting on autonomous docking and other marine technology plus its Freedom Boat Club membership to offset weak new-boat demand. About 60% of earnings already come from aftermarket or recurring revenue, and the company aims for $7–$8 billion in revenue by 2030 with 10%–13% operating margins and $8–$12 per share in earnings, while expanding Navico electronics and reducing China-sourced parts to cut supply-chain risk.
