Yolanda Marodi Sentenced to 36 Years to Life for Stabbing Cal Fire Captain Wife
Yolanda Olejniczak Marodi, 54, was sentenced to 36 years to life in prison for the second-degree murder of her wife, Cal Fire Captain Rebecca Marodi. The stabbing occurred in February 2025 at their Ramona home after Rebecca announced she was ending their marriage. Marodi fled to Mexico but was captured in Mexicali. She previously served time for killing her husband in 2000.
