Teen Survives Days on Capsized Boat in Icy Bering Sea as Two Brothers Die
A teenage survivor clung to an overturned 18-foot fishing boat in the icy Bering Sea for days after his older brother and cousin drowned when the vessel capsized amid bad weather. A Coast Guard aircrew located him and, with the help of the nearby vessel Northwest Explorer, rescued him as authorities recovered the two bodies and reported hypothermia symptoms for the survivor.
