Lamborghini Urus SE Performante debuts 801hp plug‑in hybrid with twin spoilers

Lamborghini has unveiled the Urus SE Performante, the most powerful Urus yet at 801hp from a plug‑in hybrid setup, paired with two rear spoilers and extensive carbon fibre to shed weight. It weighs 2,473kg, does 0–62mph in 3.3s, and hits 194mph; aero gains deliver 16% more downforce than the old Performante, while drag stays the same. A 25.9kWh battery offers about 37 miles of electric range, alongside a revised eight‑speed automatic and Akrapovič exhaust; the interior features a space‑age design with a large infotainment screen.

Chris King introduces world's first fully recyclable carbon aero wheelset.

Chris King has launched a new carbon fibre road wheelset, the ARD44, built around the brand's R45D hubset. The wheelset uses a carbon fibre rim developed with Utah-based CCS composites and its FusionFiber technology, which allows them to manufacture rims that are superior to regular carbon fibre ones in terms of impact resistance and noise reduction, as well as being recyclable. The ARD44 wheelset is aimed at serious cyclists who desire all-out speed on flats, climbs and through corners, and has a 44mm deep rim laced onto Chris King R45D (disc) hubs, making for a claimed 1525g overall weight.
