
Breuer to chair NATO's Military Committee from 2027
Germany's General Carsten Breuer has been elected to head NATO's Military Committee, taking office in July 2027 for a three-year term as the alliance's top military adviser and successor to Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, in line with NATO's drive to bolster deterrence against Russia.
