Nathalie Baye, the renowned French actress known for Downton Abbey: A New Era and Catch Me If You Can, died in Paris at 77 from complications of Lewy body dementia. A prolific star who began in the 1970s and appeared in more than 80 films, she won César Awards for Every Man for Himself, Strange Affair, La Balance and The Young Lieutenant, and is survived by her daughter Laura Smet; French President Emmanuel Macron paid tribute.
