Chun-Li Patch Buffs Hazanshu, Serenity Stream, and Kicks in SF6 Update
Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 patch for Chun-Li (08.03.2026) brings targeted buffs and tweaks: Hazanshu in Modern controls can now select attack strength by input direction; Serenity Stream can be canceled by pressing up to exit more quickly; Lotus Fist during Serenity Stream gains +1 on block and a longer end buffer; Medium Tensho Kicks get more Drive Gauge and better combo potential, with adjusted upper limits to connect more often with the heavy version; Light Hazanshu now has improved block advantage (-4 frames from -5), earlier standby hitbox timing (8th vs 16th frame), and increased mid-air blowback; Medium/Overdrive Hundred Lightning Kicks see forward movement before startup; Heavy Tensho Kicks gain throw invincibility on frames 8–9; and combo counts have been adjusted to ease air-combos and vary follow-ups. These changes expand Chun-Li’s offense and offer more strategic options in different match flows.
