Alanis Morissette sues former tour manager over alleged blackmail and drug-trafficking threats
Alanis Morissette filed a lawsuit accusing her former tour manager, Keren Urinov, of a calculated blackmail campaign to force her to hire Urinov as a tour director for 15 years with a large salary, including threats to report Morissette for drug trafficking after Urinov’s bag was seized for marijuana and xylazine; Morissette seeks civil extortion, fraud and negligent misrepresentation damages of more than $75,000 and a jury trial, while Urinov denies the allegations and has a separate UK defamation/misuse of private information claim against Morissette.
