Clicks readies pocket-sized keyboard phone with year-end shipping
Clicks has confirmed launch plans for the Clicks Communicator, a compact 4-inch Android smartphone featuring a touch-sensitive QWERTY keyboard that doubles as a trackpad and a fingerprint sensor embedded in the space bar. Production starts in Q4, with first deliveries to pre-orders slated for the end of the year at $499 plus shipping and taxes. The device will offer multiple keyboard layouts (including QWERTY and QWERTZ), run Android 16 with updates through Android 20, and will be accompanied by monthly progress updates, a detailed May software demonstration, and a prototype shown in June, followed by final certifications in Q3. It also supports Qi2 magnetic charging.
