Lakewood Agent Nick Graham Killed in RTD Bus Shootout; Suspect Gabriel Garcia Dead
Lakewood Police Agent Nick Graham, 33, was killed and three colleagues wounded after a suspect opened fire on officers boarding an RTD bus at West Colfax Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard on Nov. 5. The suspect, identified by The Denver Post as Gabriel Garcia, was killed by return fire. Graham, a seven-year veteran and field training agent, had been investigating a hit-and-run earlier that day.
