Two Dead in Texas Hill Country Floods as Rescue Efforts Continue
Two people have died in Texas Hill Country floods: Kerr County resident John Mark Steward, identified by family, after floodwaters swept him from a home; and a 74-year-old man in Uvalde County whose vehicle was swept off Highway 83 after ignoring flood warnings. Authorities have not released the second victim’s identity. Rescue operations and donation drives are ongoing in the region.
