Counsellor jailed for two years over Matthew Perry ketamine death
Erik Fleming, a 56-year-old drug addiction counsellor, was sentenced to two years in federal prison plus three years of supervised release and a $200 fine after pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute ketamine linked to Matthew Perry’s October 2023 death, caused by the acute effects of ketamine. Fleming helped source ketamine from the so-called Ketamine Queen and supplied it to Perry, making him the fourth of five people sentenced in the case. Prosecutors sought a longer term, but the judge ordered the two-year sentence, with Fleming expressing remorse in court.
