Qualcomm Unveils Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 with Cortex-X CPU Core and 16GB RAM Support.
Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, aimed at the $400 to $600 "premium" market segment, with a significant performance boost enabled by a switch from Samsung's 4nm process to TSMC's 4nm process. The SoC features a Cortex-X2 core for the Prime core, a faster Adreno GPU, and a dual SIM dual active (DSDA) support modem. Handsets using the SoC will be available later this month, with Redmi and Realme among the OEMs slated to release phones based around the new chip.
