Carton Blasts Torre Over Tebow Scandal; Tebow Suspends Life Surge Ties
Craig Carton publicly criticized investigative journalist Pablo Torre for linking Tim Tebow to the Life Surge fraud probe without proof of the quarterback's knowledge. Tebow has paused his five-year partnership with the Christian seminar company following allegations of predatory sales tactics. While Torre and Mother Jones detailed financial losses for attendees, Carton argued the reporting defamed Tebow. Life Surge's CEO denied improper conduct, and Tebow stated he is reviewing the claims.
