Probation-bound 21-year-old arrested in downtown Tucson mass shooting
Twenty-one-year-old David Leroy French was arrested after a mass shooting in downtown Tucson that injured nine people; records show he was on a four-year probation for a 2024 aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Surveillance footage identified him as the shooter, and he was shot by an officer during the arrest.
