Googlebook gains a wireless phone trackpad ahead of its reveal
A teardown of Google’s Cross-Device Services app reveals a new in-development feature called Cast trackpad that lets an Android phone act as a wireless touchscreen trackpad to control a Googlebook. The interface supports multi-touch pointer control, back and volume shortcuts, and adjustable sensitivity, tying Android phones and Googlebooks into a more unified, real-time multi-device ecosystem ahead of Google's September showcase.
