Superdry co-founder James Holder jailed eight years for rape
James Holder, 54, co-founder of Superdry, was jailed for eight years after being convicted of raping a woman in her Gloucestershire flat following a May 2022 night out. The Bristol Crown Court heard the attack showed entitlement and disregard for the victim’s rights, with the victim delivering a powerful statement about the lasting impact. Holder appeared by video link from prison for sentencing; he co-founded Superdry in 2003 with Julian Dunkerton.
