Judge bars motorcycle rides for 2-year-old in Paul-Mortensen custody case
Dakota Mortensen was admonished by a Utah judge for letting his and Taylor Frankie Paul’s 2-year-old son Ever ride on an electric bike during a custody hearing. The commissioner emphasized that a child that age should not be on a motorcycle or electric vehicle and should ride in a car seat or with age-appropriate restraints. Mortensen’s attorney argued the ride was brief and helmeted, but the judge insisted on safety moving forward. The hearing also expanded Paul’s parenting time with Ever and involved mutual protective orders as the couple remains in a lengthy custody dispute.
