Packers remake offense with three cutdown-day trades
Green Bay used cutdown day to overhaul its offense with three trades: quarterback McCord was sent to Miami for a 2028 sixth-round pick, a 2028 sixth-round pick was traded to Pittsburgh to land running back Kaleb Johnson, and a 2028 seventh-round pick went to the Rams for tight end Mark Redman, bolstering the backfield and tight end depth as the team shapes its offense behind Luke Musgrave’s injury and with Jonnu Smith and Tucker Kraft in the mix.
