Olivia Rodrigo’s inaugural Daisy Chain Fields Festival at Irvine’s Great Park blended pop, rock and activist energy in a one-day, charity‑driven event that celebrated women and the power of art. The 14‑act lineup ranged from Mitski and Chappell Roan to Bikini Kill and Garbage, with Alanis Morissette joining for an ‘Ironic’ duet, Sarah McLachlan performing ‘Angel’ in tribute to Dolly Parton, and Stevie Nicks closing with Landslide; Rodrigo even debuted a protest song, ‘serena joy.’ All artists performed for free, and the festival supported 10 women-focused nonprofits (including Planned Parenthood and the National Domestic Workers Alliance); Rodrigo announced $10 million raised, and Melinda French Gates pledged to match every dollar, bringing the total to $20 million.
