Sonny Styles Stands Out as Commanders Open Rookie Minicamp
Day one of the Washington Commanders’ rookie minicamp in Ashburn featured linebacker Sonny Styles making a standout impression with his size and ball pursuit, as coach Dan Quinn praised his versatility to play multiple roles. Antonio Williams showcased his fit in David Blough’s system, and Kaytron Allen impressed with vision during drills. The practice was more loaded with team and seven-on-seven periods than in past rookie camps, highlighted by an early interception from Carlin Vigers. Leadership conversations and potential future joint practices also loomed, and Styles is currently wearing No. 52.
