Taron Egerton Stars in 'Everybody Wants to F-- Me,' a Satirical Horror-Comedy Premiering at TIFF
Jonathan Schey’s feature debut, 'Everybody Wants to F-- Me,' premiered at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival. The film stars Taron Egerton as Adam, a London-based 'nice guy' who uses performative femininity to seduce women before discarding them. After a specific encounter, Adam’s desirability spikes uncontrollably, shifting the tone from romantic comedy to horror-thriller. Produced by Studiocanal and Margot Robbie’s LuckyChap, the film satirizes modern dating culture and male privilege. Critics praise Egerton’s performance and the film’s sharp early satire but criticize its inconsistent genre shifts and weak third act.
