Six Russian volunteers have begun a year-long simulated space mission as part of the SIRIUS project, studying the effects of long-duration isolation on human health and performance. The crew will live and work in a confined environment, mimicking the conditions of a deep space journey, including lunar flybys, moon landings, and rover operations.
