Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max pre-orders opened recently, but US delivery estimates now push most models to October: Pro Max shipping Oct 6–13 and Pro shipping Sep 29–Oct 6. The earliest orders may arrive as soon as Sep 18 when Apple Stores stock goes out, signaling strong demand and longer wait times.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max began today with a launch set for September 18. Early orders placed at 5 a.m. PT are expected to be delivered on launch day, but many Pro Max configurations in the U.S. now show October delivery for new orders. The smaller iPhone 18 Pro remains available for September 18 delivery, though inventory is tightening and Apple Store pickup may still be an option as the day progresses.
Valve says demand for the Steam Controller has exceeded expectations, prompting an updated reservation system that now shows three possible delivery windows: By September 2026, By December 2026, or In 2027. Existing reservations will see one of these windows, while new orders are unlikely to arrive this year and are forecast to reach customers in 2027. Valve reiterates it will continue producing the controller, which aims to mimic a Steam Deck-like PC-to-TV experience, despite being a niche product.
Apple’s MacBook Neo pre-orders began March 4, but current estimates push launch-day deliveries from March 11 to March 17–31, with delivery windows varying by configuration (e.g., some 256GB models show March 17–24, others March 24–31, and 512GB options similarly staggered). Store pickup remains available for select configurations, and the device is also sold by resellers like Amazon and Walmart. With prices starting at $599 (or $499 for students), demand appears tight ahead of the launch.

Tesla's (TSLA) Q1 2024 delivery estimates are fluctuating widely on Wall Street, with analysts revising their predictions to as low as 420,000 deliveries, down from previous estimates of 475,000. The overall consensus now stands at around 458,500 deliveries, but some suspect it could be even lower. The company is expected to release its Q1 2024 delivery and production numbers early next week, and anything below 450,000 deliveries would be concerning for Tesla. The decrease in estimates is attributed to concerns about demand and potential production challenges, including the recent arson attack on Gigafactory Berlin.
Tesla missed delivery estimates for the first quarter, delivering 422,875 vehicles compared to analyst expectations of 430,008. The electric automaker has been cutting prices to stimulate sales and fend off competition from startups and legacy players, but orders are under pressure from the turbulent economy. Despite hopes that Tesla would win a price war it started, the stock remains more than 50% down from its peak in November 2021.
