Packers Practice 13: Returns Fuel a Pass-Heavy Day as Love Leads Offense
Packers' Training Camp Day 13 featured a health boost with left guard Aaron Banks, defensive tackle Javon Hargrave and rookie cornerback Domani Jackson returning to 11-on-11 drills, while Josh Jacobs came back from a groin issue. Jordan Love directed a productive, pass-heavy practice that yielded multiple big plays from receivers like J. Michael Sturdivant, Skyy Moore and Will Sheppard; the No. 1 offense finally found the end zone in team drills, though the two-minute sequences ended without a touch for the top units. Zaire Franklin intercepted Love late in the 2-minute drill, and the defense also enjoyed some standouts. The Packers also claimed edge Arden Walker off waivers and head toward two more open practices before a preseason game vs the Broncos.
