The 49ers hold the 27th overall pick in the first round of the NFL Draft. The Chiefs’ two first-round selections in the 2026 NFL Draft are estimated to occur at 8:12 p.m. CT (No. 9) and 10:52 p.m. CT (No. 29); the draft could influence the team’s season outlook, with FanDuel projecting Over 10.5 wins at +130.
The NFL cut the opening-round clock from 10 to eight minutes for the 2026 draft to speed up Day 1, with seven minutes for the second round, five minutes for rounds 3–6, and four minutes for the seventh.
