Instagram is rolling out a global feature that lets users freely drag and drop posts to reorder their profile grid on Android and iPhone; previously you could only pin up to three posts at the top, but now any post can be moved and pinned posts remain at the top.
Android 14 beta 2 now allows drag-and-drop to move content between apps throughout the entire system, even if they aren't open yet, greatly extending the utility of the feature. This functionality will be available to all when the new version drops later this year.
Android 14 beta version allows users to drag and drop files or text between two full-screen apps, improving the overall multitasking experience on Android OS. Users can long-press text, images, or other files with one finger and use the second finger to perform system navigation gestures while holding onto the selected media. This feature will come to Samsung phones and tablets with the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update later this year.
