NHTSA Concludes Investigation into Tesla's 'Passenger Play'

Tesla agreed to disable the feature in 97% of the affected vehicles through an Over-the-Air software update. The NHTSA will not seek a recall of the vehicles, but data provided by Tesla showed that the feature "produced significant concerns about driver distraction." The agency will continue to monitor the feature and may take further action if warranted.
