Light Phone unveils Light Flip, a six-color clamshell dumbphone running a black-and-white LightOS designed to minimize distractions. Priced at $299 and shipping from April 2027, it features a 2.8-inch OLED display, predictive T9 texting, and built-in tools including calendar, alarm, maps, podcasts, weather, notes, voice memos and an authenticator, plus a music app for local files and a 12-megapixel rear camera with no front camera. It uses USB-C, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 5G, includes a user-replaceable battery, and prioritizes calling over browsing or social media. Light also plans an open developer program for potential new tools.
