TOUR Championship to Rotate Venues Starting 2028; East Lake to Host Through 2027
The PGA Tour will rotate host venues for the TOUR Championship beginning in 2028, with East Lake Golf Club hosting in 2026 and 2027 before the rotation. A new two-series format—PGA TOUR Championship Series and PGA TOUR Challenger Series—with promotion/relegation (not mid-season) was approved, aiming to have the world’s top players compete more often and deliver a more dramatic season finish; Tiger Woods led the Future Competition Committee in the effort.
