Patriots Re-Sign Ben Brown, Add Erick Hunter After Post-Cutdown Roster Shakeup
The New England Patriots finalized their 53-man roster by re-signing center Ben Brown and adding rookie linebacker Erick Hunter, while also signing four players to the practice squad. These moves followed a chaotic Monday of roster adjustments, including the release of Brown and linebacker K.J. Britt, the claiming of tight end Cameron Latu and linebacker Darius Muasau off waivers, and the placement of punter Bryce Baringer and linebacker Khalil Jacobs on injured reserve. The team now has two open roster spots and five open practice squad spots, signaling further potential additions before the regular season begins.
