Democratic lawmakers have referred concerns about Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas' alleged failure to disclose trips and gifts paid for by GOP donor Harlan Crow to a judicial committee that reviews financial disclosures. The Judicial Conference Committee on Financial Disclosure will address allegations of errors or omissions in the filing of financial disclosure reports. Thomas has denied any wrongdoing and said that he sought guidance from colleagues and others in the judiciary, who advised him that personal hospitality from close personal friends was not reportable.
