OnePlus is pulling out of the U.S. and European smartphone markets as part of a broader Oppo restructuring, with Realme exiting China; the withdrawal could expand to other regions, including India by 2027, as the company faces stiff competition and broader industry pressures.
A German report says OnePlus is set to wind down operations in the US and Europe this week as Oppo narrows OnePlus’s focus to budget devices in China and India; US customers may see no new OnePlus phones while existing users will still receive support and updates, with the company’s last major US release being the OnePlus 15 and the 15R having launched earlier this year (the 15T has not yet released in the US).
Volvo Cars reported a 3% increase in October sales year-on-year, reaching 61,686 vehicles, driven by a significant rise in sales of fully electric and plug-in hybrid models, particularly in Europe where sales surged 21%. Despite declines in the U.S. and China, global sales of electrified models rose 40%, making up 48% of total sales. The company's shares rose 1.3% in early trading, outperforming the Stockholm benchmark index.
